Language has not been declared.
As you can see there is an unusual section of whitespace in the codeblock. Looks like this on my local machine: https://imgur.com/a/7sph0

Language has been declared (Java). Looks fine.

Language (Java) has been declared and scrollboxes triggered.
As you can see the horizontal scrollboxes are broken. Looks like this on my local machine: https://imgur.com/ehcGaPF
I could not find equivalent examples in either HTML5Up’s demo or your demo.
Rounded corners are broken in all examples and both browsers (Chrome and Edge).
Blockquotes
Spacing broken, regardless of whether I use > Quote or % blockquote % / % endblockquote % (with curly braces). Looks like this: https://imgur.com/GAdzyDW
Lorem ipsum
Lorem ipsum
Lorem ipsum
Compare example from HTML5Up’s demo: https://imgur.com/qkLvmGb
Your GitHub repository and helloworld pages have no equivalent example (I checked).
The spacing between the end of an image and text is off as well (although I am sure I could fix this by brushing up on HTML/CSS): https://imgur.com/hJxSTrv
Thanks for taking the time to go through all this.
All examples done in Chrome. The same issues persist in Edge too.
